Aadhar Payment Application – How to Download and Use Aadhar Payment App?

Government of India has introduced a perfect idea to manage the identification called the aadhar payment app on 25th December 2016. This is called the AEPS or the aadhar enabled payment system. With the use of this application one can make the cashless transactions easily. Government has managed to launch this application using which the app merchants can now start accepting payments using just the aadhar number of the customers. With this, there is no need of cards or the e- wallets. The payments are going to be authorized by the customer’s bio- metrics like fingerprints. The transactions are shall be cashless, card-less and pin less. The amount will be debited from the customer’s aadhar linked bank account and credited to the merchants aadhar linked bank account.

Where to download aadhar payment app

This is like BHIM app that is all to be downloaded immediately once it was released, this is going to be same as like that of aadhar pay app. if you want to do that, you can download aadhar pay app. there is no reason for you to download any such app unless you are a merchant who wants to accept aadhar enabled payments. For those merchants who need to accept the payments do need to contact their respective banks and then see if they support aadhar pay aap interface. Further it is going to help with the setup which includes a mobile app and even a fingerprint scanner.

How to use aadhar payment app

  1. At first get the app.
  2. If you are a merchant then login and do it with your aadhar number.
  3. Validate the aadhar using your fingerprint.
  4. Now this is for accepting the payment from a customer, click on aadhar pay.
  5. Enter the customer’s aadhar number.
  6. Enter customer’s bank name and amount to be paid.
  7. Select the yes to proceed.
  8. Validate the transaction using customer’s fingerprint.
  9. After that successful authorization, this amount will be transferred from customer’s bank account to merchant’s bank account.
This must be noted that to pay using Aadhaar payment app, merchant needs a smart phone connected to a biometric scanner. If the phone has an inbuilt fingerprint sensor then you might not require an external fingerprint sensor.
For the reason, the bank accounts of both merchant and the customer need to be linked with aadhar to make Aadhaar enabled payments. The people no need to face any issue with the plastic money anymore. You don’t really need to worry about the security of the passwords, digital payments and others. the government has now come up with a great initiative in the name of aadhar payment app which is going to next step on with launch the Aadhaar payment aap that will allow the user to do digital payments that is going to get helped Aadhar payment aap which is going to allow the user to do digital payments with the help of aadhar linked digital payments.
The Aadhaar payment app is set to be launched on December 25th which is going to use individual aadhar card details and their linked bank account details along with biometric scans to the authenticated transactions
